Festivals in the Philippines offer people a chance to exhibit their rich culture and pay homage to the history and patron saints. They are vibrant, big, and celebrated with a lot of pomp and show. No wonder, each province has its own Filipino Fiesta that they are very proud of.  For some of us, the formal parts of religious festivals may change – with Places of Worship operating to different rules. For others, the informal gatherings and family traditions that accompany times of celebration will be affected due to pandemic. A Taste of Christmas!

Image
Some families have their own unique way of celebrating those special moments with the ones they love. My most cherished memory as a child was Christmas day with my own family. I couldn't wait for my favorite holiday to arrive when we would gather around the Christmas tree and enjoy each other's company. Christmas time is the time for giving and sharing but for me its all about fun. I have so much fun during this time of the year. I like to stay with my family as much as I can because family comes first. For my friends as well, we try to stay with our family as much as we can until we can't take it anymore. During the season of the Holidays, its all about the food like the: candy, tamales, doughnuts, cookies, cake, rice, beans and gifts that we all receive. For I its all about family my great friends and the Christmas parties. Christmas always comes as a very special time for our family. We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ three times; once with each set of grandparents...
